Sedgman Metals Engineering provided detailed engineering, procurement, supervision of construction and commissioning of a 350 kt/a milling, flotation plant and power station upgrade at Anvil Mining Limited's Dikulushi mine site in the DRC.

The flotation plant replaced the existing heavy media separation plant, originally installed in 2002, increasing plant throughput, copper recoveries and concentrate grade. Design commenced in October 2003 and the plant was successfully commissioned in August 2004. Since commissioning the plant has exceeded throughput, recovery and concentrate grade targets.
