Sedgman Metals Engineering is providing detailed engineering, procurement (EP) and commissioning assistance for the upgrade of the 2 Mt/a gold flotation and CIL plant, along with associated infrastructure in Mauritania, NW Africa.

The plant includes the design and construction of a new bank of flotation cells, refurbishment of a 1.1MW regrind mill and upgrades to the existing CIL, electrical and plant services.

The project commenced in November 2007.
