Sedgman Graduate Program
What We Offer Graduates
Joining Sedgman as a Graduate is a great way to launch and accelerate your career.
At Sedgman you have the unique opportunity to experience all parts of a project, from business development to detailed design, construction and commissioning of heavy industrial steel and concrete structures, through to full-scale operations.
The Graduate Program is typically two years in duration, during which time Graduates can expect to undertake placements in each of the Company's business areas such as design, projects, project development, commissioning and operations, either on site or within our corporate head office in Brisbane. Year One is about experiencing the core skills of our business. Year Two provides you with placement opportunities depending on where you would like to take your career.
Our Technical Development Plans are based on the real job requirements of the sites and business areas and the personal and professional development needs of the Graduate. Your work will extend beyond your day-to-day tasks to include other development experiences such as a structured professional development program, mentoring by senior professionals, job rotations, career coaching and social activities to ensure you receive the maximum benefit from your time with Sedgman.
